Hospice inpatient unit opens its doors to first patient

On Wednesday morning, a “relieved” Miriam Miles, 66, of Rickmansworth, was the first patient to be admitted to the newly refurbished Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) inpatient unit after it underwent a major refurbishment project over the summer. Miriam, who was diagnosed with breast cancer over six years ago, will now work with the physiotherapy and Hospice team to regain use of her legs, so she can be able to walk again.
