The current situation with Covid has been a particularly difficult time and lockdown restrictions have made it even harder for carers. Although we cannot currently organise face-to-face group meetings, we have now moved this service online using a simple video calling tool called ‘Zoom’.

This informal, online group is for anyone in the borough of Hillingdon who is caring for someone with Dementia.

Carers attending talk about some of the challenges they face, share experiences and feel supported by others in a similar situation. The Dementia Carers Zoom group provides a safe space for carers to get together.

Our dedicated members of staff are also continually assessing what is important to carers, what they feel they need and how we can best support you.
