Thumbs up to the team at Watford-based Carpenders Park Garden Centre who have kindly donated a clematis, a honeysuckle, bird feeders & 12 pairs of gardening gloves to Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH), in support of its volunteer gardeners, who help maintain the Hospice gardens all-year round.

Commenting on the donation, MSH Community Development Fundraiser, Vanessa Howden-Smith, said: “We are hugely grateful for this wonderful donation from Carpenders Park Garden Centre. Our patients and families always comment on how lovely our garden area is and this is thanks to our fantastic and dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to keep it looking beautiful. It really does make a big difference when a local business can help support us in this way, so on behalf of everyone involved with Michael Sobell Hospice and Michael Sobell Hospice Charity (MSHC), thank you so much.”

MSH and MSHC rely heavily on volunteer helping hands across its Charity shops, based in Ruislip, Eastcote and Northwood, at the Hospice itself, at fundraising events like its forthcoming Santa Dash on Saturday 9th December, weekly Charity book stall in Amersham and Chesham and Harefield-based Warehouse.
