The annual Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) plant sale returns on Saturday 12th May, 10.00am-12.30pm, and has once again been organised by the Hospice’s award-winning, green-fingered volunteer team, who regularly donate their time, talent and love of all-things gardening to help maintain the grounds of the Northwood-based Hospice – come rain or shine.
An array of bedding plants, flowers, herbs, bird food, vegetables and homemade preserves will be available to buy on the day for gardening enthusiasts, as well as, top tips from plant savvy gardeners ‘in-the-know’.
“We are appealing for any gardening donations for our forthcoming plant sale,” explained Michael Sobell Hospice Charity spokesperson Vanessa Howden-Smith. “If you are able to make a donation in aid of the Hospice, please kindly drop-off your items to the Charity office (via Gate 3, off White Hill, WD3 1PZ) between 9.00am – 5.00pm, in the run-up to the event and ideally by Wednesday 9th May if at all possible. Thank you so much in advance of your support.”
Free entry and free parking is available on-site on the day. In addition, there will be refreshments including homemade cakes available to buy and enjoy.
For further information, and should any questions fertilize in the run-up to the big day, feel free to contact Vanessa in the Charity Fundraising team on 020 3826 2357/2367.
