While many of us were putting our feet up or making the most of some ‘down time’ over the weekend, husband and wife team Paul and Charlotte Laidman-Garrett of Garrett Decorators donned their overalls and set to work on sprucing up the Day Centre at Northwood-based Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH).

The couple, who gave up their time completely free-of-charge, put their decorating talents to the test to take on the one-day ‘makeover’ project. Charlotte explained why they offered to lend a helping hand: “It was an absolute pleasure to help Michael Sobell Hospice. It was a big job, but we got it done and how much brighter the corridors looked when we left! We are both so happy everyone is pleased with the finished result – it feels like a real accomplishment.”

Andy Kilduff, Day Centre Manager at MSH said: “Thank you so much to Garrett Decorators – you have made such a difference. It is very much appreciated.”
