Community Development Fundraiser

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 (FTE)

Based in Northwood, Middlesex

Part-time (0.6) 22.5 hours per week

The Michael Sobell Hospice Charity is seeking a Community Development Fundraiser to drive community based fundraising forward, developing relationships and identifying and maximising fundraising opportunities and participation. If you are enthusiastic and energetic with a passion for the local community this role could be for you.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Fundraising and Administration with experience in volunteer-led activities. You will have good planning and organisational skills and be confident and able to communicate well at all levels.

This part-time position would suit someone who is willing to work variable hours, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Temporary Fundraising Assistant

This is a varied role that will require a combination of physical activity and office-based work. There will be a limited amount of out-of-hours work required for which time off in lieu is given.

The post-holder will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of Hospice fundraising events.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting in planning events, including research and entering participant information onto the Charity's database (ThankQ)
• Physical setting up and breaking down of events
• Attending and working at events
• Post-event reviews
• Working successfully with Volunteers
• Contributing to other Fundraising activities as required

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (by agreement) - Monday – Friday (some out-of-hours work may be necessary)

Location: Michael Sobell Hospice, Michael Sobell Fundraising Office, Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood HA6 2RN.

Database & Accounts Administrator

Salary: Dependent on experience

Based in Northwood, Middlesex

Part-time (0.6) 22.5 hours per week - Full-time (1.0) 37.5 hours per week

The Michael Sobell Hospice Charity (MSHC) is seeking a Database & Accounts Administrator to be responsible for the maintenance & accuracy of the CRM database and Retail EPOS systems. You will be the key contact for the third party IT support provider, ensuring the charity IT network and associated and associated hardware/software is fully functional and compliant.

Reporting to the Accounts & Administration Manager, you will assist with the preparation of both regular and ad hoc financial reports.

The successful candidate should be proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel), have excellent database skills and experience of IT operating systems including installation and updating. This position would suit someone who is able to work to tight timescales, prioritise and have an open and flexible attitude.

Donor Development Fundraiser

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 (FTE)

Based in Northwood, Middlesex

Part-time (0.6) 22.5 hours per week

The Michael Sobell Hospice Charity (MSHC) is seeking a Donor Development Fundraiser to develop and drive forward its individual giving strategy.

Managing direct marketing, regular giving, and legacy fundraising, you will be responsible for maximising individual giving streams and developing donor journeys that create informed and loyal supporters to our vital cause.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to build an effective strategy to recruit and retain donors, have good database skills and be a team player.
