Coronavirus Update: In line with the advice from the EBU and the HBA, and possible impending restrictions from the Government, the Committee has decided to suspend all sessions at both branches of the Club in order to protect the wellbeing of our members and visitors. We are unable to anticipate how long the closure will last.

Since its foundation in 1992, the Sobell Bridge Club has donated a total of three quarters of a million pounds in support of Michael Sobell Hospice – a fantastic achievement.

About Sobell Bridge Club

The club has two objectives:

  • It aims to provide a venue where people (especially those recently bereaved) and could meet and play bridge in a friendly atmosphere.
  • The club also exists to support the work of Michael Sobell Hospice and is the 24th largest club in England.

The club is anxious to reach out to others who support its objectives and is starting a beginner’s course in the summer.
