Every year, Michael Sobell Hospice helps hundreds of people facing life-limiting illnesses, their families, carers and loved ones.
While the essential medical care at Michael Sobell Hospice is provided by the NHS, Michael Sobell Hospice Charity (formerly the Friends of Michael Sobell House) raises over £1.6m each year towards the continued funding of vital services including the 16-bedded in-patient unit and Day Therapy Unit.
Our Charity, thanks to the support of the local community, contributes £2 of every £5 that is spent on patient care at the Hospice.
Thanks to this combination of NHS (through the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust) and voluntary funding, Michael Sobell Hospice is believed to be one of the very best hospice services in the UK today, and the only in-patient unit in the Hillingdon Borough.
All services at Michael Sobell Hospice are provided free of charge to patients. Charitable support helps to fund services including the:
- Inpatient Unit
- Day Centre
- Patient and Family Support Team
- MSH office and Administration
- Staff posts
We are grateful to local people, companies, community groups and schools who fundraise and donate to make our work possible.
Thank you for your continued support.
