MSH Trustee dreaming of Masala Tea on completion of London to Brighton 100k walk!

On Saturday 27th May, Michael Sobell Hospice trustee Satish Kanabar will be putting his foot power to the test and setting off from Richmond to Brighton on a 100k walking challenge – with anticipation of a hot cuppa of masala tea on his arrival to the south coast! “Until about five years ago, I was not at all fit when I was roped in to join work colleagues in the gruelling National 3 Peaks Challenge. Howdens Uxbridge donates new MSH family kitchenette

Local company Howdens Joinery in Uxbridge has recently donated a brand new kitchenette to Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) following a request for help on Facebook from the charity. Warren Davies, from Howdens Joinery Uxbridge said: “I first heard about the project on social media via a friend.  I immediately made contact with the hospice and arranged for a kitchen to be provided by Howdens Uxbridge.  I then got in touch with a local builder friend of mine, who offered to give up his time to fit it for free. Local staff nurse Kate Tyson, who works at Michael Sobell Hospice is taking on the 26-mile challenge of the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April in a bid to raise extra funds for the hospice. MSH delighted to welcome Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine of Serbia in 40th year

On Saturday 11th March, Michael Sobell Hospice patients, staff and volunteers were delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, in celebration of the Hospice’s 40th anniversary year.
