Team Lindt UK volunteer for a spot of painting for Hospice Charity!

A 24-strong team from Lindt UK, based in Bedfont Lakes, Feltham, volunteered a day out of the office to grab some rollers and tins of paint, to take on a special ‘makeover’ challenge at the Michael Sobell Hospice Charity office in Northwood on Friday 13th October – unlucky for some, but not for us! St Martin’s School, Northwood choose MSH as Charity of the Year!

Staff and pupils at St Martin’s School in Northwood have selected Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) as their Charity of the Year for 2017/2018. Every year the prep school selects a charity to support throughout the school academic year to raise money and awareness. This year the Hospice which is based at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre has been chosen by the school. The school’s Charity Committee, which is made up of Year 7 and 8 pupils, will be getting their heads together in the coming weeks to come up with a programme of fundraising activities to put on throughout the year

Hand-painted guitar donated by singer Kate Nash goes up for auction

If you are a fan of singer/songwriter and Netflix star Kate Nash, you might be interested in bidding for a classical guitar, previously owned and hand-painted by the singer, now up for auction on eBay to help raise funds for Michael Sobell Hospice, a cause very close to her heart. Kate, who recently supported the Hospice through the sale of selected merchandise while on her Made of Bricks tour, raising over £1,700 for the Hospice based in Northwood, is hoping to add extra pennies to the donation with the sale of this guitar.
