Take part in our fun, FREE TO ENTER swim-a-thon in aid of Michael Sobell Hospice on Sunday 9th April at St Helen’s School, Northwood, and help raise much-needed funds for your local Hospice in the Easter holidays! You are invited to make a splash from 8.30am, with individuals and teams of all ages and abilities welcome to participate in this swimming challenge event. 17-year-old Sam Fernandez of Chalfont St Giles and sixth form pupil of Dr Challoner’s Grammar School is lending a helping hand to the weekly Michael Sobell Hospice Charity (MSHC) book stall in Amersham Market every Tuesday morning and putting a smile on customers’ faces with his cheeky grin! Harefield man to take on RideLondon-Surrey 100 mile bike ride challenge in memory of friend

Harefield man and A&E doctor at Northwick Park Hospital, Adam Mitchell, will be taking to two wheels on Sunday 30th July for the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey cycle challenge, which will see him putting his foot power to the test and pedalling through the streets of London, all the way to Surrey – over 100 miles, in aid of the Northwood-based Michael Sobell Hospice who cared for a close family friend. MSH delighted to welcome Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine of Serbia in 40th year

On Saturday 11th March, Michael Sobell Hospice patients, staff and volunteers were delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, in celebration of the Hospice’s 40th anniversary year. Ruislip man Paul Blower will be donning his boxing gloves tonight as part of an IWA boxing event in conjunction with The Knowlesy Academy, Edgware, and hopes to pack a punch for the Northwood-based hospice that cared for his mum (Carol Blower) during her battle with cancer two years ago.
