Michael Sobell Hospice opened its doors on the 14th February (Valentine's Day) 1977 and for over 40 years has touched the lives of thousands of patients and their families in the local area; providing vital care and support when they need it most.

Have you heard about our Patient & Family Support service (PAFS)? In our special 40th anniversary year, we have launched an appeal to highlight the invaluable work of our PAFS team, and to help raise money to secure the future funding of the service, which costs Michael Sobell Hospice Charity over £160,000 each year to fund.

Tell me more about PAFS

Being able to talk to family members when a loved one is seriously ill is sometimes one of the hardest things to do.  This is where the PAFS team come in.  The team offers advice and support; giving families (including children) the chance to come together and talk through any concerns, fears and anxieties when dealing with a loved one's illness.

Please consider 'donating a kiss' and making a donation to our PAFS appeal in our 40th year. You can donate by clicking on this link to our JustGiving page.

Thank you in advance for your wonderful support in our 40th year.
